We moved to SE Devon from Suffolk two years ago, and Daniel Wood was recommended to us by one of the removal company’s drivers who was local to this area, because he said, “This guy has just fixed me up with a new boiler and saved me £1,400!!!” I was formerly the Chief Chemist at Fernox Manufacturing Ltd, and so I am steeped in water chemistry & plumbing, and I wanted our house to be made as up to date as possible “plumbing-wise” as the Americans say. Dan installed a new pressurised water system and a water softener within days of our moving in, removing 4 water storage tanks in the roof and replacing the electric shower in the en-suite bathroom as they did so. He and his assistant did the whole job in a day and a half [I had expected it would take at least twice that]. They made no mess…even removing their shoes when entering the house….and charged me significantly LESS than I would have expected! Since then Dan has carried out several jobs for me including a full service of the ancient Gas Boiler…which he repaired and got running perfectly after the local “big boys” in Sidmouth had singularly failed. Dan is fully certified as a gas engineer. He comes at once if there is an emergency, and completes even “difficult” jobs in a fraction of the time others take. I thoroughly recommend him to your readers.
