Marc has completed 4 bespoke projects in the last 12 months including kitchen worktops, a bespoke drinks station and utility room with wooden worktops. We first called Marc in for a butler’s pantry. I visited him in his workshop not his showroom. I found it reassuring that my money wasn’t being spent on upkeep of a flashy showroom. He presented us with three very different drawings of what he could do. The drawings really gave us an idea of what it was going to look like. We then negotiated on price – agreeing what he could sacrifice to keep the price to what we were happy with. We agreed a start date which he kept to. Most of the cabinetry he makes in his workshop before bringing and installing – this saves the work being done in your home (and the noise and mess that comes with it). As the project went on we added bits, and he took things away and re-worked them to our liking. He has subsequently created and fitted out our utility room, and installed oak cabinetry in our kitchen. Marc is very good at suggestions, very willing and a nice guy to have around. He has a very expert assistant who is also a nice guy. His prices aren’t cheap, but you are getting quality and he’s working in real wood. The price for our pantry was probably half the price of a competitor we also spoke to, who took ages to both to attend and quote in the first place. Marc brings his own plumber and electrician as required within the service he provides. He’s always there when he says he’ll be, he is very reliable, and he cleans after himself very well.
