David and his friendly hardworking team did a great job for us, felling a tree and replacing some fencing and garden decorative rails.I wanted a wooden arch to replace a worn out metal structure. The task was to thin a 7 acre Douglas Fir plantation formerly an ancient woodland site (PAWS) each Autumn over a period of 3/4 years to allow native trees to regenerate and flourish bringing an increase in biodiversity. This is the second project David and his team have completed for us and we are very happy with the result. It was important that our bespoke pergola had a low profile due to its raised position and we wanted some additional decoration on the beams (not easy to achieve with such big pieces of wood), all fulfilled brilliantly. I had a very tall eucalyptus in a small garden so it had to taken down. The boys arrived promptly, were friendly and helpful and got on with the work with no fuss and bother, tidied up afterwards leaving the garden clear and tidy and a useful pile of logs. I was very pleased with it all and will use them again to get rid of the stump and roots.

The Wildwood team did a fantastic job rebuilding the timber retaining wall on a garden terrace with oak sleepers for us. They rocked up with all the gear they could possibly need and a little over 2 days later we had the best part of ten linear metres of 600mm high oak retaining wall solidly fixed to uprights sunk well into the ground and concreted in place – that’s going nowhere! It is hard to find professional companies that care about their customers and genuinely want to do a good job, this company do care and offer a truly excellent service. They turned up when they said they would, costs came in as per the estimate they provided and they were very helpful throughout the whole process. Alex and his colleagues from Wild Wood came to remove a dead tree and to remove some branches from other trees in our garden.The work was carried out efficiently. Wildwood identified that a large willow tree had a bacterial canker and had to be felled. It was close to a veg garden, greenhouse and shed and had to be taken in sections. They’re good! We’ve used him for 6-7 years for tree felling, hedge cutting, groundwork, emegencies when trees are down in the lane, coppicing. He’s made banks and groundwork with chippings from old railway sidings.
