  Just had Nick and Luke back again to lower the rear garden hedge as they did it so well last year. You would not have known they had been as all the foliage was cleared away and everything was left clean and tidy. Have found this team, after all the work they carried out last year in the garden, building new fencing and a stunning stone patio, capable of carrying out any task, no matter how big or small along with helpful advice and excellent ideas and remedies.   We were very lucky to have found Nick and TLC via this site to provide garden maintenance services on behalf of an elderly relative several years ago since when he has provided 100% reliable, trustworthy and helpful service. We also used TLC for one off tree work and for a fencing quotation, both of which were handled in a professional and pragmatic way ensuring we got the best value for money solution. Cannot recommend TLC too highly

  I can’t imagine getting better service than this. Heavy gate post rotted at the base and brought down a 5-bar gate. I was anxious to get the job done quickly because entrance to property blocked. Very quick response and reasonable price. Within a couple of days Luke had done a very efficient job, reset the post, rehung the gate and strengthened the fence supports.

  Just had Nick and Luke back to carry out more works in our garden and again they have shown they are highly skilled and professional. A stunning stone patio has been built replacing the rotten and very slippery old decking they had previously removed. They have also neatly edged a border and planted some, what were, very pot bound shrubs. Really thrilled with the results of their hard work.

  Nick and Luke came to replace my mother’s garden fence (43 metres long approx). Totally professional from the outset, they cleared the old fencing and replaced it with the new in less than 2 and a half days. The new fence looks absolutely fantastic. They also kindly cleared portions of shubbery for my mum, which had become quite overgrown.   Excellent work. The lawn was very overgrown, but Nick mowed it with a beautiful result. He arranged for a team to sort out a fallen-down tree. They are very efficient.   Nick and Luke have just finished working in our front and rear gardens and we are thrilled with the finish. What a hardworking team they make. Gone is the old rotten shed, gone is the worn out rotten decking and gone is a wide out of control hedge in the rear garden. In addition they have lowered another rear hedge and expertly trimmed back a conifer hedge in the front garden.   Pollarded a large holly hedge, dug out a bank next to a farmers field, erected a fence , created with sleepers three vegetable troughs, created a space for two compost heaps, made a walkway and supplied and deposited top soil and agricultural grit. All done superbly with all mess cleared . Very conscienious and extremely hard working team.

  We have used Nick and Luke for a number of years now to cut our hedges, and cannot recommend them too highly. They work extremely hard, always come when they say they will, their work is professionally completed, they tidy up afterwards, and their charges are reasonable. I cannot see us using anyone else in the future.

  Nick and Luke turned up on time – a fantastic start! Luke did a top job replacing a rotted gatepost and Nick spent the best part of the days strimming the very, very overgrown lawn, pruning the shrubs and weeding the drive. We now have a garden we can easily access because of the new gatepost and wander through without needing a machete. All of the garden waste – and there was a lot – was removed. All up, an excellent job and I have no hesitation in recommending.

  Thank you for your efforts with my hedge. I have just had a good look from all angles and am delighted with the result. You should be too, since it now appears squared off in a way that it did not when you first began to visit.It also has thickened because of frequent cuttings. The verges look tidy, the new ‘step’ in the hawthorn along the front pavement and gradual new growth along Boughmore Road are all as I had hoped. Also thanks to Luke for netting bed. They did a great job, without the easiest of access.Where others would have just said ‘replace the whole fence’, he examined it closely, and told me exactly which parts needed to be replaced.   Nick has been working in our garden since last summer. He is an extremely hard worker who turns up on time and gets the job done to a very high standard. Nick is happy to listen to ideas and come up with his own suggestions as to what needs doing in a collaborative way. I have never seen him with anything other than a very wide smile on his face – he is a pleasure to have around. I cannot speak highly enough of Nick and would recommend him to anyone.
