  Sean and the team did an excellent professional job pruning and removing dead wood and a split branch from my large oak tree which has a TPO. They completely cleared away all branches and debris afterwards and left the garden clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

  Tip Top did a thorough and professional job for us of dealing with two dying Ash trees bordering a lane, with minimal disruption. Shaun and the lads were really helpful. But for a gap in the hedge and a big stack of cut logs, you would never have known they’d been there.

  Shaun and his team removed a dangerous branch and dug up hard to remove brambles, also removing a small dead fir tree and some overhanging branches. Professional and, friendly and flexible, they attached a trellis for me in addition to agreed work and did an excellent job, cleared everything away and left me with a garden to be proud of. I can’t recommend them highly enough and will be using them again.

  Shaun and his team from Tip Top Trees were brilliant. Very polite and friendly but professional. They cleared up at the end and our garden looked tidier than before they arrived.   Sean and his team have done a brilliant job. We were concerned that a large feature pittosporum tree by our front gate needed reducing, but didn’t want it to look unsightly, or to be lost to bad pruning and the chance of disease.   A lot of garden clearance carried out by Shaun and his team; from cutting down a predominantly brown leylandii hedge to removing brambles and scrub.   Our long and tall conifer hedge was given a superb cut and all the clippings were removed. The daffodils in front of the hedge survived the operation and are carrying on blooming. All in all friendly and efficient.

  Storm Callum blew one of our trees on to our neighbours annexe which didn’t please him too much.   The standard of work was first class. It was a pleasure to have such dedicated and respectful young men arrive each morning with smiles on their faces, clearly focused on getting the job done.   Tip Top Trees provided an excellent service to my parents over many years as they were unable to maintain their own garden. Lawn cutting, pollarding and pruning were carried out to a high standard. Sean also replaced a side gate to the property. I would certainly recommend Tip Top Trees.

  Mr Kelly was appointed yesterday to prune apple and holly trees. He was excellent throughout. Turned up on time and got started straight away. Vehicles and equipment was clean and well maintained. He and his assistant Luke worked quickly and efficiently and were cheerful even though it was a very cold day. Every scrap of debris was removed including some other bits that I had cut earlier. A thoroughly professional job from start to finish and I will be having them again.

  Sean and his men are a real team, consequently they work fast and efficiently. Their skill is impressive and Sean’s quick comprehension of the problems combine to make an outstanding group of professionals. Our large, lightening struck tree, growing on a boundary near a livestock yard and a listed building was not a challenge for them and at the end of the day no one would have guessed such a tree had just been taken down.   The job Shaun Kelly, ably assisted by Luke & Will, has completed for me today is to remove an existing lawn and replace with layers of hardcore/chippings. Good start by turning up on the promised day and then doing the job as agreed in a very competent manner, always cheerful and even leaving the place tidier than before ! One soon learns that keeping a supply of tea/coffee on tap is the secret, plus the occasional treat of doughnuts (but do ignore their pleas for bacon sandwiches ……. )Would recommend to anyone for landscaping and tree work.

  Sean Kelly trading as Tip Top Trees prepared and submitted an application to EDDC for tree works to eleven trees covered by preservation orders. Following approval, he supervised the works which were carried out fully in accordance with the description of works covered in the application. He liaised with all effected neighbours for access as necessary for the works, which were carried out with the minimum of disruption or inconvenience. The end result was extremely pleasing as the trees are on prominent view throughout the village. Altogether a most satisfactory outcome.

  Tip Top Trees & General Gardening Services are as the name imply’s absolutely TIP TOP in all aspects of the work they carry out. They have just supplied and erected 11 panels of fencing and all the necessary posts boards and so forth to do the work to our complete satisfaction. This was a difficult project due to a hedge which could not be moved. We have no hesitation in recommending Tip Top.

  We had a dark, water-logged area at the bottom of our sloping garden. Sean and the team have transformed this into a delightful decked suntrap which has become a focal point of the garden. They have also replaced 65ft of fencing, which did present some problems, but their expertise and knowledge overcame these to give us an excellent finished job. They are a pleasure to have on site, being punctual, tidy and excellent workers using the best quality materials in an extremely professional manner. We would certainly recommend them.
