  Recently moved to the area and it was recommended by neighbours to have a water softener installed. We also wanted our boiler serviced and control systems upgraded to an app based system and were delighted to find a company that could cover all our requirements. Even after a few days we noticed the positive difference in showering and softness of clothing after they have been washed.All the work carried out by The Little Plumbing Company was to the highest standard and certainly value for money.   Hayden came to our rescue when our hot water tank sprang a serious leak at 4.30 on a Friday afternoon. He was with us within an hour and spent more than two hours carrying out emergency repairs to allow us to continue using the system until he could return with, and install, a new tank.   We have a private water supply. I asked Hayden to take a look at a very old and very broken water filtration system in our attic recently which I discovered could have been installed better!   house working to an extremely high standard. Hayden was very friendly, a mine of information and would explain anything that was unclear. I also appreciated the fact that he didn’t rush what he was doing even though he was working in very hot conditions and in a less than ideal environment. He not only fixed the problem but upgraded the system significantly to work far better and for a fair price – using high quality parts. He emphasised the best way to do the job, not the easiest! I was so impressed with his work ethic and professionalism that I also made arrangements for him to come back a few weeks later to resolve a handful of smaller but inconvenient bathroom related jobs. Fixed the flush mechanism on the toilet cistern, bathroom basin plug mechanism was faulty/worn, same with the bath and he fixed an outside leaking tap. Again, all done at a very reasonable cost.Thanks for your efforts Hayden, it was much appreciated. It was so refreshing to see the pride you take in your work and I now consider you my ‘go to’ plumber going forwards. :-)I would say that I don’t leave reviews very often but had to on this occasion.   Hayden came to service our boiler in what should have been a routine visit.Unfortunately the boiler was leaking gases of combustion and had to be condemned! Within a very short space of time, Hayden and Ben were back, cracking on with a brand new boiler installation.   beyond the call of duty, late into a Friday evening discovering that the original wiring to thermostats and boiler and hot water store were all incorrect AND the flow and return to the condemned boiler had also originally been connected in REVERSE! After a bit of head-scratching and lots of work with test meters he soon had the system re-wired and working correctly after what has been 20 Years of incorrect initial installation from the original home builders!!!!I honestly don’t think I would have found anyone else who could have figured this out, let alone go waaaaaay beyond what one would have expected from an engineer working into the night!Trust me, Hayden is one of the best out there and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him on any level of plumbing work you may require.

The guy who came to fit it was extremely courteous and kind and did the job brilliantly in super quick time and cleaned everything up afterwards. I cannot fault the experience.   Our problem was a LOT of very noisy gurgling from our kitchen sink drain, which we had put up with for far too long. Hayden listened tob= the problem, then stripped the drainage system down and cleaned it all out, replaced a couple of bits, and for the last week it has been perfectly quiet.   We had a particularly challenging job – which had very little “upside” and huge potential risks, including the possibility of either days without water in the whole house, and/or having to smash off very expensive and hard to match large-format limestone tiles.
