The options were extensive and lovely; the door came earlier than expected; installation took a very brief amount of time. Green Windows installed our bi-fold doors about 8 years ago. They made an excellent job of this, being quick, efficient and professional.Since then we have had the occasional minor issue with eg sealing at the bottom of the doors, or a broken door handle. However, it was as well that I was there to pick up a problem with the latching of the secondary glazing panels due to fouling with some securing bolts (which had to be moved). But overall, very satisfied – the glazing does an excellent job of insulation of heat and noise.

I would recommend anyone wishes to replace their windows to go to this company. Not only the survey was carried out expertly and explanations given to particular aspects of the installation but the real difference is in the quality of the fitters used by the company. Simon and Flynn have great skills in removing the old windows without any damage to the internal walls and their fitting of the new windows and doors was expertly carried out. You may find a cheaper company but you risk suffering shoddy workmanship and ill fitting windows, overall I cannot fault Green Windows.

We had previously paid a deposit to another company for a new front door but the company went into liquidation. We were understandably worried about choosing another company but Russell from the Green Window Company was brilliant. He checked that our chosen door hadn’t already been made (unfortunately it hadn’t) before placing an order. It took 5 weeks for the door to be manufactured and it was fitted by 2 extremely polite and helpful fitters the following day! Very high quality double glazed hardwood sash windows were installed in our cottage that was built in 1890. This has made a huge improvement by replacing the original single glazed sash windows that were very draughty and showing their age. I wrote a review on 11 Oct after having had a new high security back door fitted stating just how good this company was. After the door was fitted I noticed a faint dotted line on the inside of the glass, something caused in manufacture. Good clean workers, the builders were amazing, didn’t stop until their job was finished the plasterers were fantastic, and double glazed doors fitted them perfect, and then the finishing second to none. The installation was quickly done with no mess or upheaval. This company did not give us the lowest quote but we decided that they offered the best package. We had a minor problem afterwards and Russell came and sorted it out very quickly and without fuss. Many thanks to all concerned.

Good job Russell and team in replacing our front door and surrounding porch windows. Green Window’s fitters were very careful in their work, avoiding damage to the surrounding woodwork and paintwork. Stunning … that is all I can say, from start to finish. I was very nervous about choosing a company for my double glazing and roof line replacement. Out of all the companies I had around The Green Window Company were honest and not at all pushy or gimmicky …a pleasant change from the rest! Our new Orangery kitchen extension has just been completed and have been blown away. The structure looks amazing and is of the highest quality materials along with the highest quality workmanship from the builders, electrician, carpenter and uPVC fitters. We had the Green Window company replace the windows and doors in our entire house. The work was booked in promptly and the windows arrived and were fitted quickly and to a very high standard.The window fitters were fantastic, with an expert eye for detail, and kept my wife informed at every stage of the fit.
