  Old Panel Fencing fence,replaced with Feather Edge Sam was a very concienous and hard working and easy to get on with.The work was carried out to a high standard.Would definentely recomend him.

  Sam replaced several rotten fence posts for us. He was very pleasant and professional. He was really hard working and did an excellent job to a high standard. We would not hesitate to have him again and highly recommend him.

  Sam has repaired our fencing (damaged during the recent storms). The work was carried out in a professional manner and of outstanding quality. Nothing was of too much trouble for him and he checked regularly with us as he was carrying out the work. Overall we could not have received any better service and given the standard of work the charge was extremely reasonable.

  Sam recently undertook a project in our garden to extend our patio and makeover a disused side garden. We are very impressed with his work, from the initial meeting to discuss options, his flexibility in amending the plans when our ideas changed to working conscientiously to get the job done to the highest standard. The result is additional, useable, neat and tidy space in our garden. We wouldn’t hesitate to use SM Landscaping and Fencing again and sincerely recommend Sam.

  Sam is reliable, courteous, hard working and an all round great gardener.From mowing lawn to planting shrubs, weeding and hedge trimming, everything is done with respect and rubbish taken away in bags. Sam has been looking after my gardens for over a year and would always recommend him.

  My father has always been very particular about maintaining habitats for wildlife by allowing patches of his large garden to grow wild. However, due his advanced age, he was no longer able to do any work on it himself. He was reluctant to bring in a gardener, worried that the garden would be tamed and he’d lose the wildlife habitat, so it became completely overgrown, almost impenetrable in places.   still harbour wildlife. It was and still is a big job since the garden had become so badly neglected, but with a few visits over a few months, Sam has and continued to bring it under control, all with the hard to attain approval of my father 🙂 No mean feat Sam! Sam is extremely hard working, sending me photos and videos of the work he achieves at each visit. He is a very good listener, practical, creative and obviously very experienced. I couldn’t recommend Sam more highly!

  Top quality service! Sam is really good at giving advice and suggestions, and always does a thorough job.. including cleaning up at the end. Have hired Sam a few times and have always been very happy with the service.

  I am so pleased that I have found SM Gardening. Sam and Ben have been so hard working, polite and always on time. They have done an excellent job of transforming my garden, when many people wouldn’t even of tackled it! I am very happy with their work and would definitely recommend them (and have!)

  Sam and his colleague come regularly – once a month for four hours. They are very knowledgeable and keep the garden really nice. They get rid of weeds, if there is a problem with the lawn the sort it out. Recently he came and did a much bigger job – replacing some fencing. He did really tidy work and the fence is super strong. He does a really good job with excellent customer service – he takes photos of what he’s done and sends them through to you as a record.

  Sam has worked in our garden over the past year or so and I would highly recommend him. He is a skilled gardener and is also able to landscape. As well as cutting grass, hedge trimming, planting and weeding he has created paths, built a compost area and landscaped a wall. He is also great at communication and totally trustworthy.I have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

  Sam is probably our 5th gardener over the years and by far the best.Very reliable, conscientious and knowledgeable – unlike others he can think for himself.He’s done hedge trimming, tree pruning, as well as the normal maintenance work.We can thoroughly recommend him

  Sam’s very good! He did a cracking job putting up a fence for my mother in law. He worked really hard – really cracked on with it, on a fair slope.
