  Stewart has recently completed two new jobs for me, including some short notice emergency work – and all I can say is that he continues to be as excellent as ever. He’s very professional, very friendly, efficient and great value. It’s rare to have someone actively try and save you money, but he does that as well – if work or equipment is ever unnecessary, he lets me know. I genuinely can’t recommend him highly enough.

  I needed a light replaced in my bathroom and contacted an electrician living in my area. He quoted me a rather high price so I thought about your booklet I had found posted through my letter box and contacted 3 of the businesses listed under Electricians. They all responded but I phoned the one who replied most quickly and who had quoted me half the original quote I had received, SJ Electrical. (The other two businesses were similarly reasonable in their prices.)The electrician arrived at the time agreed, did the work quickly and efficiently and charged what he had quoted….   I moved into my home a few months ago and contacted SJ Electrical Services to test the fuse box as recommended by the surveyor as the house is just 10 years old. A few other pieces of work were required too. Stewart and his assistant Lee were prompt to reply to my initial enquiry. They are friendly, polite, respectful, professional, helpful and trustworthy. The work was carried out at the estimated price which seemed a fair cost. I would certainly use them again.

  Highly recommend.Rang Stewart on a Sunday morning …..He arrived on time the next day as he said he would and did an excellent job replacing an old cloack room light cord fitting and the extractor fan.   Stewart came out to help with a fault in my kitchen wiring. He’s an absolute gem, he was quick, friendly and polite, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to find and fix the problem and several others as well. He needed to get the dishwasher out to reach the outlet behind it, and he moved it, found and repaired the fault and re-fitted the dishwasher in half the time it took two dishwasher installation specialists to put it in the first time. He also spotted and fixed a problem with the water pipe at the same time, and saved me… [read more]from a flood later!I was worried about the repair cost but it’s reasonable enough that I’ve asked him to do a couple of other jobs for me as well.   Transforming Electrical installed a new RCD and carried out some other electrical jobs in my house in 2015. They were very flexible regarding the time that the work was done; easy to deal with; and nonsense – free with the quote and billing.   Transforming Electrical were excellent and very helpful in helping us to ensure our wiring was up to date and safe through testing, then fitting a new circuit breaker and helping us source and then fit double insulated lighting where needed. They were especially helpful with a request to fit a dedicated mains spur and specialist socket to supply a Hi-Fi system.. Very reliable and clear about what was needed and followed through to complete the work and issue a safety certificate.

  Stewart and Chris came out at short notice to fix our underfloor heating. Unfortunately it still didn’t work properly so they came a second time without quibbling and sorted if. A couple of weeks later we had a problem with a bathroom ceiling light and they came very quickly to sort that too.An excellent service by two friendly and willing chaps and not too expensive either.I would definately use them again.

  We needed an outside light fitted and for it to be wired to an existing light switch which was never used. A friend recommended Transforming Electrical and, on contacting them, Stewart came out to see exactly what we were after.   Had Chris and Stewart round to install a new cooker circuit for the kitchen. Very punctual and friendly guys.   We have used Transforming Electrical to perform a complete re-wiring on a refurbishment project we have undertaken. Our Grade ll listed property is being divided into two and the first half, comprising a one bedroom flat is now finished.
