  I like to say how pleased we are with the work your team has recently done to redecorate the exterior of our house.

  It was a big job with some high-level working, and your team took great care with the preparation and decoration. They were helpful in suggesting solutions, when they saw a need for some additional remedial work.

  All work was done very neatly, and on time – and everything was left very tidy at the end of the job. So, it was a first-rate experience.

  Just a few lines following the recent completion of the exterior painting of our house. I had anticipated that this would be quite stressful for us, but your staff made it a calm operation which was carried out at the agreed dates, within budget and with the minimum of disruption to our home life.   The Croquet Club in Budleigh Salterton has a substantial and ancient ‘Hoop-Setters Hut’ dating back to the early 20th Century. Following some timber replacements, this tired-looking weatherboard Hut was subject to intense surface sanding down (several layers of peeling paint) prior to the application of “Murfill” long-life breathable coating. Subject to interruption by inclement weather, the work took several days and has been completed to a high standard of finish. Patrick, one of Simon’s painters, operated diligently & thoughtfully, integrating his activities with those of a busy Members’ club. A highly satisfactory result!

  Santucci Ltd did an external redecoration for me, involving treating angle beads with rust inhibitor and repainting my window reveals. Simon and his team were friendly and helpful, and the work was carried out to an excellent standard. There was a significant delay, which was entirely understandable under current circumstances. However, I did knock off one star because they went rather quiet while the job was pending. Nevertheless, I would thoroughly recommend Santucci Decorators as the final result was very good and I’m sure the logistical challenges will ease as the pandemic recedes !

  Santucci Decorators carried out the renovation of our house in Exmouth over the course of a couple of months. Simon coordinated the project which required plasterers (to replaster all the rooms), electricians (to rewire the house) and plumbers and gas engineers (to fit a new bathroom and plumb in a new gas line).   Simon and his team completed the huge task of repainting and repairing our detached house. They were very thorough in the cleaning, preparing and painting the whole exterior. Simon is very knowledgable and recommended fabulous weatherproof exterior paint which is necessary as our house gets all the ‘sea’ weather. He organised the scaffolding, the render repairs and painting and kept us informed along the way.As part of this job he then undertook the redecoration of our master bedroom, once again organising all the relevant tradespeople to complete the work which included a brilliant carpenter who had fab ideas great electricians… [read more]who also came up with super suggestions and the plasterer who was very accommodating.   We are very pleased with the services from first contact, the initial consultation and quotation of costs to completion of the project. Allowing for breaks, resulting from wet weather, Chris an Phil have worked flat out! Always cheerful and polite. There was not one little gap noticeable where they omitted to mask and shield around door and window panes and frames.Old cracks revealed from the initial pressure wash were thoroughly and professionally repaired allowing ample drying time before application of the prime coat and eventual final coat.   We are very pleased with the Andura coating as it has successfully covered up a number of unsightly cracks in the render and hidden some poorly finished patches of new render where window alterations had been made. Simon was extremely patient and helpful during the difficult decision about the colour, which was eventually mixed according to our specification and is exactly what we’d hoped for.   I approached Simon’s firm following comments on the Dulux and ourlocalexpert.co.uk web sites. I didn’t feel at all pressured and was offered advice on a particular issue concerning a resin coated door. After agreeing a start date, Mick arrived on time to start work. I worked at home that day to answer any final queries. I was impressed by the speed of the work even where he had to go the extra mile with a steel coated door but even more impressed by the quality.   Simon & his guys decorated our newly-acquired apartment throughout while we were out of the country. You’re always a bit anxious with tradespeople, but that certainly wasn’t the case with Simon. All work was carried out to a very high standard, for a reasonable cost. Simon is very pleasant to deal, and even came back at no charge to touch up a few marks left by the removers.
