I needed some new external doors built and fitted along with a new door lining. Stuart was very professional, knows his stuff – that was apparent in discussion about the work before it had started!
The work itself was 1st class, carried out on time and at the price quoted, which for someone of his undoubted calibre was very reasonable. Stuart was very clean and tidy and I would not hesitate to recommend S.B.Carpentry, thank you Stuart.

Work performed: Renovation of existing wooden frame porch and installation of new hardwood double doors, including fitting of hinges, door handles and locks.Stuart carried out the work to a high standard and quality. The carpentry was performed carefully and with excellent attention to detail. The work site was kept tidy and cleaned up at the end of each day. Stuart communicated well both before the start and during execution of the work. I am very pleased with the final result of the renovations.

I used Stuart from SB Carpentry to fit wooden flooring, make bench seat with coat and hat rack above, fix rotten floorboard/joists, fit skirting and architraves. His workmanship is 5 star, clean/tidy and thoughtful a real gentleman. Would recommend SB Carpentry

We are absolutely delighted with the craftsmanship and professionalism of SB Carpentry. We wanted a bespoke store room built between two stone and brick buildings and Stu visited twice to listen to exactly what we required, as we wouldn’t be present while the work was being completed. When we returned home what had created exceeded our expectations. Throughout, communication was excellent, even sending pictures, and we couldn’t be happier. We would totally recommend SB Carpentry and we will be returning customers for sure!

Where to start! Stu was an absolute professional whose communication was faultless from start to finish. Stu was punctual, informative, reasonably priced, talented and friendly! Stuart came to have a look at some repair work needed on our garage door. He was able to do part of the job immediately and so got stuck in. He came back a couple of days later with the necessary timber and did a very neat and satisfactory job.
