  Exceptional Craftsmanship and Professionalism!I recently had the pleasure of hiring Richard Parry (RMP Carpentry) to replace soffits, facias & cast iron guttering. From start to finish, he demonstrated outstanding skill, attention to detail, and professionalism.Richard was punctual, communicative, and incredibly respectful of my home. He kept the workspace clean and completed the project within the agreed timeline and budget.   We recently had all our internal doors changed by Richard. Richard is a genuinely nice guy who is an expert in his trade. He is very pleasant to have in your property and a very tidy worker. Each day he left out property as he found it. I would not hesitate to recommend Richard to anyone. Should I need further work doing, he would be the first person I would call on.

  Richard has recently completed a total re-build of the roof of our large summerhouse. His ideas and remedies for problems that arose were first class always talking every problem through with us. His workmanship was absolutely superb and his attention to detail was first class – a rare find these days! As a person, he was a joy to have on site and he appreciated the tea, scones and cake!!   Rich has designed and built a beautiful pine built-in bookcase in our lounge. When he first visited to assess the job and take measurements, Rich was very clear about the options available – and provided prompt quotations for these options. Having established exactly what we wanted, he has been punctual, a good communicator throughout the entire process. He has taken great care to protect floor surfaces and carpets and cleaned up thoroughly after each stage.   When I first contacted Richard to do some work for me he did tell me he was busy and I’d have to wait a while if I wanted him to do the work. Well the wait was worth it. The work is now complete and to such a high standard, money well spent and I am thrilled with the transformation to my hall/stairs and landing. He was reliable, punctual and always tidied up after a days work. I’d go out for the day and when I got home I could see my vision coming to life.   Richard has completed the conversion of a conservatory to a habitable space.There was a tricky bit of roof work which Richard tackled with complete confidence. The whole works were undertaken with complete professionalism . Very experienced craftsman of which the likes are now sadly very rare. Richard is dedicated, hard working, conscientious with an incredible attention to detail and a very personable character. Sad to say goodbye when the job was finished but he is coming back hopefully soon to work on my kitchen.Highly recommended.

  Once again Rich has proven to be a master of all things he crafts. Floor tiles this time and a beautiful job done. The attention to detail and thoughts about every aspect of the job are Rich’s specialism. He works like a Trojan and makes every effort to accommodate inevitable changes to plans due to the uncovering of issues along the way.Again, I cannot fault Rich’s work ethic, master craftsmanship and achievements.   Richard has recently worked for me replacing rotten fence cappings and cladding on 2 gates at a house in Exmouth Marina. He also made & fitted a privacy screen for the top of a party fence using an existing panel as a template. Throughout, there were many examples of the expertise and pride that Richard brings to his work. He is undoubtedly a perfectionist and goes the extra mile to finish the work to the highest of standards, including voluntarily inspecting and securing original loose fence posts to the walls and replacing worn gate fittings. He treated the property with care and put down floor coverings where it was necessary to walk through the house to access the rear.   Richard fitted a new kitchen worksurface, plumbed in a new sink and tiled my kitchen. His attention to detail was amazing and I am very pleased with his work. He came when he said he would, kept the house clean and worked really hard. I would recommend his work and also his work ethic.

  Richard Parry came to fit a couple of oak internal doors for us last week. His craftmanship is excellent and he took time to line everything up perfectly.   Rich has just finished working with us for the last few weeks. He has been fantastic. He is completely trustworthy, but what I most appreciated was the care and attention he took to get things right. He’s the opposite of slap-dash and gives every issue careful consideration to make sure it’s done properly.   Richard’s work is excellent. He is prompt, hard working, very precise with the detailing of the finish and very easy to get along with. We highly recommend him for any project you might have. He is also versatile and responds well to changes necessary to the spec part way through a job which ours did the more we uncovered.   Richard has recently completed a significant amount of work on our house over the last six months or so. He has renewed flooring, installed stud walls, overboarded ceilings, dot-and-dabbed walls and upgraded our exterior cladding from wood to concrete-fabricated cladding (Cedral). He will also be installing a new kitchen for us within the next couple of months.We chose Richard because he had the best reviews we had ever seen and we now understand why his reviews are all so good.   First rate job. Rich adapted our larder unit to a standard cupboard and fitted an integrated dishwasher underneath. He is very pleasant, turned up on time and did and an excellent job which took much patience!

  Rich has just completed flooring, doors and skirting in 2 rooms and hallway for us. His attention to detail is excellent. He’s reliable , very pleasant to be around and very tidy. He had to rectify a below standard plastere’s job and finished to very high standard. He’s given good advice throughout and certainly knows his trade. Highly recommend and will definitely use again.

  Richard has completed several projects for me, a new roof with a light tunnel / velux window on a kitchen extension, patio doors, a fitted kitchen to an extremely high standard, the design of which was not at all straightforward, a new flat roof plus upvc windows and doors on a garage and numerous other jobs. All of his work is of the highest standard. He is reliable and conscientious and I would recommend him to anyone who wishes to receive an excellent service for a reasonable price.

  Richard has done numerous jobs for us covering a wide range of projects and has always delivered above and beyond our expectations. He removed more than half of our roof, cutting trusses and installing new ones, as well as fitting a fire door to the garage, as part of an extension. When we wanted a large curved edge to our UPVC decking, he researched intensely techniques he could employ to create this feature and fitted it successfully. He designed a bespoke book shelf to fit snuggly under the eves in a bedroom as well as creating and installing a… [read more]fitted seating bench in our conservatory with built-in shoe storage underneath (and a discreet hinged floor to house the gas meter!). He made from scratch and installed fitted wardrobes which we designed as well as fitting some rather awkward wardrobe doors which we had bought from Sharps, but they could not fit the doors as we wanted, again, Richard came up with a solution and fitted them for us.We would most definitely recommended Richard and are delighted to be able to vouch for his tenacity, absolute attention to detail and fair pricing.
