Steve Watts of Ridge Roofing surveyed, was very thorough in looking at the issue of a leak around a redundant chimney. We had decided to remove the chimney and tile over, to prevent any possible future problems. Steve’s quote was reasonable, given the work was quite significant. The gents who did the work were clearly experienced, were friendly, did an excellent job, left the site very clean and tidy – no issue whatsoever. Highly recommended.

They refelted the roof on a property in Taunton. They were fantastic. They were very good, reliable, tidy, contactable (as you know, sometimes tradespeople can just disappear!) I have since gone back to them, and recommended them to friends.

I have used them twice. Last time they replaced all the guttering around my house – they did a first class job. The two guys who did the work were very experienced. What impressed me was that they found a leak which they chased back to a ridge tile – they were concerned to get to the bottom of the problem.These days you often worry about having people around the home, but they were really nice chaps.

Very good – they were very competitive with their price. They put up a new chimney and performed repairs to the stack. They also did the roof over the garage which was leaking.The men were very good, and Steve himself came down. There was a little bit of a problem, not of their fault, which they put right straight away.I was so pleased with that job that I asked them to consider putting a new roof on my conservatory – I was talking to two builders already about this. Steve told me that he wasn’t going to quote for me – as my conservatory just wouldn’t take this type of roof. He explained he could quote me for it, but he knew I would have problems with it – it would distort the frame and allsorts, it was just too heavy. If I had engaged with either of the other two I probably would have had all sorts of problems, so in the end I didn’t get the work done. I have since recommended him to a couple of neighbours who have also been very happy with their work.

From start to finish Ridge Roofing have been a very professional company to deal with. We required our extension, which is only 10 years old, to be reroofed due to bad workmanship. The team at Ridge Roofing had time to discuss our options, they gave us a starting date as soon as we agreed to their quote which was very helpful as well as completing an excellent job and leaving the site spotless. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

A prompt response to our enquiry, swift inspection and detailed quote for the work. Scaffolding erected with little inconvenience and the work was completed on time. All the staff were polite and worked tidily with no disruption to our day to day lives. Really impressed with this company and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Honestly they are brilliant, superb!Over the phone he came over extremely well. I showed him what I wanted to do, and he went through the whole thing. He performed a complete examintation of my roof, inside and out. He explained exactly what was needed, then provided superb, details quotations. He showed me his liabilities, guarantees provided, terms and conditions etc. Everything was clear. The nice thing is that his prices was very competitive but they were so professional in their presentation of the job.When we agreed to go ahead he explained about the vagaries of scheduling roofing work due to weather.The first team we had (for the re-roof) were excellent. They explained what they were going to do before they started, and what they were doing at every stage. Steve (the manager) came down while they were working to check the progress of the job.His other team turned up for the guttering and the fascias, and they were just as good. Everything was done exactly right. Both teams were really nice guys, a joy to have around, very polite and approachable. They were good, clean and tidy, and when they had to leave stuff on site they checked with me. At the end they cleared down really well. They worked over flower beds and took great care not to damage the plants.
