  Matt’s team recently carried out work on my Magnolia tree which had grown very large. They did an excellent job and took time to make it look a nice shape. They cleared up afterwards and more importantly were very polite and courteous which these days we don’t often get. I will certainly use them again and highly recommend this company.

  Matt’s team came and cut down 2 trees that we needed removed for electrical work. Not only were they super efficient but when we came home from work there was no mess anywhere. They had cleared up and taken away the debris. What was great was they even – with a last minute email!! saved me some of the holly tree with berries so I can make some Christmas wreaths.I would highly recommend Pro-Treeworks and would certainly use them again for any future work that we need doing.

  We have used Pro-trees a few times now and from contacting Mat to arrange a quote and then the hard working team’s visit it has been very efficient. Mat responds to the initial enquiry promptly and communication is excellent (so many are not interested these days). His team are hard working, cheerful and very pleasant. They worked all day last week on a hedge which is so tall they needed a cherry picker to reach it! Not our hedges but the neighbours like them high.   We’ve used Protree to manage our trees for several years now and wouldn’t use anyone else……why? very simple….. because they’re so good at their job and friendly. This time they did a hard prune to our walnut tree and took so much effort to make sure the remaining branches were left in a really nice shape and as usual they cleaned everything up and left us with just usable logs and woodchip…. no mess!. I’ll certainly be using them again.

  The guys arrived on time and worked hard throughout the time with us. They were very pleasant to talk to and extremely obliging. Couldn’t fault their work ethic. Cleared our bamboo, hopefully successfully. Only time will tell, but said to get back in touch if we have any problems. Can’t expect more than that. Price was very reasonable too.   I would thoroughly recommend Mat and his team at Pro-works (Zack and Stuart) who did a job for me on Thursday 15/2. Two smallish overgrown trees pollarded, some overgrown bamboo cut back to ground level and other brambles and foliage cleared. Zack and Stuart arrived on time, worked hard, co municated effectively with me in terms of the job, left the working area tidy and appreciated the supply of drinks and sweet treats!

  Zack and his colleague came to do a range of jobs in our garden including major hedge-trimming and various pieces of tree surgery and pruning. They arrived promptly and worked industriously throughout two days. They were both friendly and completely professional and were careful to consult with us where it was not obvious what we wanted.   Pro Treeworks did an amazing job reducing the crown of our Beech Tree. The tree had two trunks and one was to be fully removed and the crown of the one left was to be halved. This was going to be a significant change for the tree and consideration was needed to ensure the remaining element was attractive. The outcome was incredible.   Matt. Jack and Liam took down a large ash tree with heavy branches overhanging our neighbours gardens. We, and our neighbours, were very impressed by the way they carried out the job and how efficient, clean and tidy they were. It was a pleasure to have them here and feel we didn’t have to worry about how they were getting on or the quality of what they were doing. It was apparent from the start that they set themselves high standards and would do a good job.

  An efficient and very helpful team.Professional and proficient.We were extremely pleased with the work they did in our garden. Hedge cutting and trimming.Cutting down a tree and taming a weeping willow that was dominating the garden.Above all cleaning up after the work was completed.To be recommended.

  We can’t recommend Pro-Treeworks enough. We’ve called Matt and his team out on three occasions now to help manage our mini woodland area and each time they have been excellent. The trees are cut back with care to ensure they retain their shape and the environment is protected. Everything is cleared away and we have the bonus of chipped wood for our paths! Would not go to anyone else.

  I contacted Pro-Treeworks to remove a large conifer hedge as they had previously carried out work for my daughter which she was very pleased with. The quote given was very reasonable. Matt and his assistant were punctual, methodical in their work, hardworking and polite. The site was cleared of debris and left in an immaculate state. Excellent service and a job professionally carried out. I will use them again and would highly recommend their service.

  I am very pleased with all the work that Mat has carried out for me – tree surgery, pruning, and digging out some large shrub roots. He listens to what I want and takes a lot of care with his work to ensure that I’m happy with the final result. He cleans up extremely well, for instance after digging out the roots, which made quite a large hole in the border, everything was left tidy and there was hardly any soil spilt on to the grass or patio. I would definitely use Mat again for any tree or shrub work.

  For a large Norway Maple with dieback in the crown, dismantled in a controlled manner and a chair carved into the stump. I was really impressed with Matt and the young man he had working with him, they took down a massive tree and left my garden so tidy and clear of debris you’d never have known there was a tree there, apart from the chair he created from the stump of the tree. I would definitely recommend Mat he was an excellent worker.

  He’s fantastic – I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my trees. I’ve been using him for years. He’s sympathetic to the tree and the surroundings. He’s in tune with them – he doesn’t just cut them down and make a mess. He loves his trees. We had one very big one came down in the recent gales.
