  Paul is without doubt an expert. He has years of experience and re decorated our whole 4 bedroom house to a very high standard. He was polite, tidy, fair priced and completed the job on time. He was a pleasure to have around and after 11 house moves over the years with our doubt the best painter and decorator we have ever experienced. We won’t be looking elsewhere for any decorating work we need doing!

  This is the second time Paul has worked for us, and I have no hesitation in giving him 10 stars. He is a truly professional painter, and takes responsibility for all his work himself. He gave us the option of putting all the furniture back every day so we could use the room (lounge), this wasn’t necessary but he left everything clean and tidy anyway.Amazing how quickly a professional gets a job done, cheaper than using a cowboy anytime.

  The interior of our newly-purchased bungalow seemed ok… until you looked closely. There was just so much to do to put it right, we weren’t sure where to start. Paul was truly excellent! His expert eye and meticulous preparation – digging out, filling in properly, repairing cracks and flaws which were previously hidden by furniture – made for a perfect final finish. No challenge was too difficult, neither did it diminish his polite, pleasant and cheerful disposition. Paul keeps his word – a rare quality these days. We’d happily have him back again, and highly recommend him to you.

  Paul decorated our breakfast room (painting and wallpapering) to the highest of standards in February this year. We were impressed with the quality of his work, timeliness, cleanliness, reliability, friendliness and consideration. We asked him back to re-decorate two bedrooms this month (May) and again he started and completed a top notch job on schedule – dealing with unexpected issues he uncovered (under some old wallpaper) along the way with patience and skill.   We were recommended to Paul Eaton by our neighbour as a person who would do a professional job at a very reasonable price.The outside of our house needed repainting, it is a heavily textured rendering so not the easiest of jobs, which required a brush application not a roller. He arrived on time, as previously arranged and carried out the work to a high very standard. Where required he made sensible recommendations.The appearance of the house now that it is finished is outstanding.He is a thoroughly professional painter and decorator.

Very clean – putting dust sheets down everywhere, also moving furniture around for us. We’re very grateful for this because we’re getting on a bit.   We left Paul to refurbish our Sitting Room whilst we went on holiday for a week.He did everything he said he would–and more. We had no phone-calls, he just got on with it.He had to clear the reasonably large room of wallpaper, skirting and coveing before replacing it all, made the walls good, just to mention some of the things he did.We came home to a tidy and clean room, ready for the carpet. His pricing was really good,We will be recommending him to everybody and be using him again ourselves.

  For painting our doors and window frames – Paul took them out and replaced them. He did a super job – was thoroughly professional and really knows his stuff. We won’t be using anyone else again.He has an eye for detail, and nothing’s too much trouble. Highly recommended!Good after sales service too – he came back as one or two of the doors/windows weren’t as secure as they used to be, so he came back and put that right.

  Paul is quite easy to sum up: he is punctual, reliable, honest and, above all, a highly skilled craftsman. His work is always to an excellent standard and extremely good value for money. We first saw his work – the communal halls, stairs and landings of three blocks of low rise apartments where we live. We commissioned him on that basis for our own quite large living/dining room. The plasterwork, both walls and ceiling, was shot. Problems had been “hidden” by layers of paper, vinyl, woodchip and cheap emulsion from previous owners. We like his manner, how he is presented (clean and tidy) and how he works. He keeps the space clean and is happy to work around you – so he doesn’t get in the way.
