We recently employed Mike Magrie on 2 occasions to carry out some external maintenance on our Victorian Cottage and to disconnect our Washing Machine and connect the new machine. He also carried out some maintenance in our loft.
Mike is a very engaging guy and a pleasure to have around.
My wife and I would not hesitate to give him a call in future for any work on our cottage which has been in our family for 100 years.
Highly recommended if you need a good honest and very genuine guy.

Mike put in two bathrooms for us, having helped us make decisions about what we wanted. They look stunning and are beautifully finished. Mike and his team are very well organised with different aspects of the work done seamlessly. They are very professional and easy to talk to. MM Construction provided a very competitive quote and prompt service to construct a level base for a new greenhouse on our sloping site. Mike undertook our small extension with professionalism. Mike came every day to update us on what was happening and to ensure we were happy with the progress of the work. The craftsmen that work for him are very expert in their field, especially the carpenter, Johnny who is in a class of his own. All the men who were on our site were polite, friendly and easily approachable. Happy to recommend MM Construction. Mike was really helpful when we relocated into the area sourcing all sorts of trades required (electrical works, decking, gate/fencing etc). All guys worked on our property have been polite, well mannered, and great tradespeople. Mike has been very supportive and keeping tabs on everything and guess what – he returns your calls, emails, and does what he says he will, which many in the trades do not! Mike Margrie has done a substantial amount of building work for me over the last few years, involving most aspects of the trade, from the foundations to the roof. He is able to manage and coordinate design, planning and construction using his experienced and skilled team. His projects are always priced fairly and are finished within budget. We had a downstairs renovation done by Mike and his fantastic team. They put in a new kitchen and bifold door, did some building works and laid a new floor, decorated etc. Mike gave us a quote and a time frame. Even with all the snow we had and four day Easter weekend, the work was done within the six weeks that were estimated and for the price given. We have just had a complete renovation of our kitchen including installing patio doors and a new window and I have to say we are absolutely thrilled with the result. I am thrilled with the work that Mike and his team have done converting my garage to a bedroom with en suite. Having had numerous estimates from different builders we eventually contacted Mike. From the initial contact we both had a good feeling about engaging MM Construction Solutions for the two extensions and complete garden makeover. Mike Magrie was helpful and intelligent in negotiating what work should be done, in suggesting solutions to minor problems that arose and in co-ordinating with other trades working over the same period. The work was done quickly and efficiently and to a good standard. Though not the cheapest available, we consider we received value for money.

We had work done in our kitchen,the ceiling was on a slant ,which was raised to make it all level. So we had to have a flat roof aswell,plastering inside and making the outside to look good aswell. We were really pleased with all the work that was done. From getting the quote to getting all the work done was done very professional. The large building project on which MM Construction Solutions embarked on required a demolition, followed by the construct of a larger garage interlocking the pitch roof to link in with the construction of a large conservatory. My wife and I bought our first house last year and it needed some work doing. Michael’s team worked in a very tidy fashion, coming home from a day at work the house and environment was always clean and neat. Michael and his team were polite and well presented. Michael’s team were trustworthy, they had access to our house whilst we were out at work, over the duration of the job and the house was always as it was left. Michael gave us a good quote for the work which he stuck to. Payment was very simple to arrange via BACS. We have used Mike for a number of projects now – Fireplace widening & doorway widening. His work is of a high standard, timelines and pricing were made very clear, and all jobs completed to a high standard. Mike and his team plastered and redecorated our living room, plastered our bedroom ceiling and fitted a loft ladder for us. We were very impressed at how quickly Mike fitted us in, being flexible in coming round at times that suited us, even when it meant popping in at the weekend. Mike has just re-rendered the outside of our home and made a great job of it. He is extremely pleasant and hardworking. He will do any general building, kitchens, bathrooms, extensions, fencing, decking, drives, guttering, decorating etc. He will undertake any job regardless of size.
