  Excellent service ! Luke removed our Rayburn and noticed our kitchen tap was leaking (I knew about this and had tried to fix myself) , Luke offered to replace whilst here. Was a tricky replacement but completed expertly and without a fuss! Impressed with Luke’s attention to detail , wanting to make sure everything was ok. A truly expert tradesman and good value ! Definitely will contact again and highly recommended! Thanks Luke for an excellent service !!

  Luke dismantled and removed our Aga. (July 2025).Communication good when arranging the work.Worked quickly and carefully – removing an Aga is not easy! He was a very tidy worker and then cleaned up inside and outside when finished.

  Phenomenal attitude. We were in desperate need to get our oil fired working to heat our swimming pool. We had let the temperature go down over the half term break as we were doing internal renovations. Unfortunately when needing the boiler to heat up the pool ready for swimming lessons two days later it failed on us.When I contacted LSJD the response was so helpful.   hour even though it was coming up to 10 pm.He soon found the faults but persued to make sure it would run to it’s full potential so gave it a service of which it was in desperate need of.It was choked with sutt.Now the boiler is running like a dream heating the pool water so much quicker and back up to temperature in the 33 hours before the swim school lessons starting.Finally the charge for the work considering the time of night and the distance he had to travel was very reasonable.   In 30 minutes, Luke Dennis diagnosed and resolved an intermittent boiler fault that had defeated 5 other heating firms over the past 4 years. Arrived within hours of being called. Very methodical and courteous, he displayed the professionalism and many years of experience which he claims on his website.Overall, very nice to deal with : at last, we found the right man – a REAL expert. Highly recommended.

  Luke came out late as my aga was dying and my livelihood depends on it as a preserver and grower of veg all picked and ready to be processed. He came and sorted and travelled from some distance to be at mine.Really recommend.

  This company was brilliant when my Aga went out last Friday having been serviced in November! My usual engineer was on Christmas leave and unable to help me for some time in January. A hopeless situation. Rang LSJD on the Friday, 30th and Mr Dennis arrived at 10.30am next day. That’s what I call service. My Aga had a thorough service and with some defective parts replaced and relit. I received an email later that day to ensure the Aga was running efficiently.

  We called Luke out on Boxing day as our Aga went out and we couldn’t re-light it. The prompt service Luke gave was 100% he arrived within an hour of contacting him and sorted the problem. We would not hesitate in recommending him and will in future use him for all our services. Really nice chap too!

  For gas fitting and plumbing: Luke provides a very efficient service and was always helpful with advice on the jobs that I asked him to do, he was clean and always left the property tidy. It was nice to be able find a local tradesperson who would do the job in person and I would recommend Luke for all aspects off gas fitting and plumbing give him a call.

  I can thoroughly recommend Luke from LSJD services. He came out at short notice to fix an old aga that was in a house which we had just bought. It became obvious that the aga had not been serviced properly for many years and Luke did a brilliant job to get it going again, he sorted out the chimney, cleaned everything up and within a short space of time the aga was working again at full capacity. Luke is very knowledgeable and professional and we will certainly return to him to sort out the equally ancient central heating boiler.

  Luke went out of his way to sort our Rayburn out. It was a long way for him to travel but he agreed to come because he knew nobody else would help us. He was professional, polite and funny. He did an excellent job for us and I would highly recommend him to anyone

  Luke was really responsive when we contacted him. He said he was busy but could he come back to me next week. The following week we agreed an appointment for a day when he was in the area. He phoned 40 minutes before the appointment to check this was still good. He did a really good job and has got our Aga working again – which is exactly what we wanted.

  Cannot recommend Luke highly enough. We were let down by our previous Aga specialists when the oil control box failed. I contacted Luke and he was quick to respond, knowledgable and prompt in getting the work done. He has just been back since to service the Aga and we will continue to use his services. Highly professional and very friendly. 5-Star service.

  Fan light not working on an electric Aga.Friendly, efficient fitted us in late afternoon the same day called. Had the parts on the van which meant no waiting time. Would not hesitate to recommend Luke!

  Luke responded very quickly to an urgent request for help in getting our Aga back in service after it had been shut down following a fire. The Aga had been serviced by someone else only a week previously. He quickly identified the problem and got it going again. He was extremely professional and charming to deal with, and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to any other Aga user.

  Our AGA went out yesterday and, coincidentally it turned out, the boiler was misbehaving. Luke was available at short notice (no one else was) and he was here within 24 hours. He checked the tank and oil line; no problems there. He found a blocked jet in the AGA and a too-dusty optical sensor in the boiler. He serviced the AGA and fixed both problems.   Luke came out to relight our Aga which had not been used in a very long time. He he quickly got to work cleaning out the burner giving it a full service, and in no time had it lit and fired up, the kitchen was lovely and warm in no time, perfect for the cold snap, In preparation for a lovely curry cooked later that day. Luke was very tidy and left our aga gleaming like brand new. We would highly recommend this service any time. Thank you !

  As a trades person who also advertises in My Local Expert I can’t recommend Luke enough. Emailed on a Sunday as we returned from holiday to find our oil boiler had stopped working & within 24hrs Luke had been out diagnosed a few problem parts, located the parts in Exeter, returned & installed. We left him to finish the job & our home was left very clean. Top job & will be calling soon to check out our flu.Thanks.
