  jonathan and lee did an excellent job of taking down our very old ceiling and replacing it with a new one. this work was carried out with no fuss and considering the job minimal mess.a pleasure doing business with them both.ten out of ten from two very satisfied customers in newton poppleford. many thanks.

  Jon and Lee have done an excellent job of installing 2 new windows with associated brickwork and lintels. The interior and exterior works have been finished off to a high standard and I will definitely be using them again soon.

  Lee and Jonny are great Trades men, putting their hands to every aspect of Building work, they made our build run very smoothly.The quality and finish to our kitchen extension is excellent.Nothing was to much trouble, any additional works were talked through and carried out as discussed.They worked to within the Timeframe and Costs as laid out in their Quotation. Highly recommended.

  Can’t thank Jonnie enough.   Lee & John Muir carried out major structural work on our bay structure following the conclusions from the structural engineer. The 4 flat owners in this large Victorian building have used J&L Muir for many years for other repairs & maintenance as well as an extension to one of the flats in the building. We were not disappointed !We spoke with the buildings inspector on completion of the work and he was also very impressed with the very high standard of work that was carried out which just reaffirmed our own conclusions.John & Lee were also very respectful, kind and thoughtful during the whole 4-5 month process as well as keeping the site very clean & tidy at all times. We would have no hesitation in recommending J&L Muir to anyone that asks either for repairs & maintenance or larger projects such as this one.

  I cannot emphasise enough the quality of the work that was undertaken by this family business. From the planning through to the actual work there was a quiet efficiency and a great result at the end of the job. I would recommend Lee and John without hesitation. The work undertaken was the insulation of a garage ceiling under a living area and the finished product is a work of art!Competitive pricing and attention to detail-I am so glad I selected these guys and will definitely use them again if I have further projects to undertake.

  We bought our house 3 years ago. J+L Muir performed a total refurbishment of it – we just left them to it. They are extremely reliable, absolutely trustworthy, and the standard of work is extremely high. On a personal level I would un-hesitantly recommend them.

  We’ve had issues with builders in the past, but Lee and John were brilliant. They completed a 2 storey extension on our house 4 years ago.They came to our house to discuss the quote, then we met every month to discuss progress. Everything was on time and on budget. They suggested changes and improvements as we went along that improved the project. We are delighted with what they have done, and have recommended them to friends. We’ve since had them back for work on our driveway.
