Early this year had a change of personal financial advisor due to retirement. The larger company taking over was not interested in little people like me (aged 80). However my advisor recommended me to a local company called TNW Financial services based at Henley Business Park at Abbotskerswell , just outside Newton Abbot; and in particular to a gentleman called Henry Bremridge who is an accredited member and advisor for the fully supported financial services agency SOLLA – The Society for Later Life Advisors. at all before . Mr. Bremridge is also a volunteer generalist advisor for CAB in Newton Abbot. You can look him up easily on Google and check his credentials etc. He is also a member of the Local Business Group. Mr Bremridge quickly came to my home three or four times , sorted out my affairs, helped me to face up to things I was running away from e.g.my Will and Legal Power of Attorney with their connection with a local solicitor ie Michelmores which allowed also me a discount of 25%. He was very kind and helpful pointing me in the way to get additional financial support and has an innate ability of dealing and talking with elderly people without making them feel old and stupid. He gave me the confidence to seal up my affairs before my death somewhere across the next 10 years with luck ! I cannot thank and recommend him enough for his understanding and level of support. I am reassured and confident that he is there is the background for me whenever I need him and I have learned to trust his judgement and respect his opinions in the knowledge that he will do the best for me.
