  Guy and his father Mike extended our patio and we are very happy with the result. They were both very pleasant people to deal with, worked hard and were very professional. Guy’s attention to detail is exceptional, he really is a perfectionist and that shows in all aspects of his work. At the end of each day they would really tidy up the site ready for a punctual start the next morning and when they finished the job, apart from having a new patio, you wouldn’t have known they had been here. Can’t recommend them enough!

  Guy cut back an overgrown hedge, and built a large raised bed with shingle surround. Also erected new fencing, which had blown down in a storm. Very happy with his work and friendly manner. Always punctual, and tidied everything up.

  Guy and his father Mike have recently completed landscaping part of our garden. They raised the level of the border and lawn, re-planted some of the larger shrubs and laid a new lawn. The grass quickly became established and has greatly improved the look of the garden. They are experienced and very hard working, punctual and at great pains to ensure that the garden was left clean and tidy at the end of each day. It was a delight to have Guy and Mike working on this project, we thoroughly recommend them.

  Guy and his dad Mike recently completed landscaping part of our garden, comprising a patio and paving around our shed, a shaped raised flower bed edged with oak sleepers, replacing a back gate and a fence post. Their workmanship is exemplary and with their expertise they discussed options with us regarding materials and to improve our suggested design. They are punctual, work very hard and well together and are a joy to be around. We could not be happier with the finished result and would not hesitate to recommend them.

  Guy and father Michael have completed a wide variety of projects in our garden over the last few years. He also made a great success of erecting a greenhouse for us last year. He is always punctual and reliable. He will offer his advice if needed and has useful links with local suppliers.   Guy came to look at an issue at the back of our house which needed extensive levelling work and a new fence. Guy and his team were excellent throughout the job.   When we decided to “do” something with our rear garden we were lucky enough to find Guy Bennett and his Dad Mike.  Over a period of time they have created a number of gravel areas bounded by oak sleepers, some being walkways and some seating areas.  They have also created a stepped decking path leading to a further decking area for a summer house.  Following on from this, they laid a new turf lawn which has completed the transformation of our garden.  Guy and Mike always do an excellent job, show great attention to detail and are happy to discuss… [read more]and vary things along the way when needs be.  Guy’s prices are always fair and as a bonus, they are really pleasant people to have around.  We would not hesitate to recommend Guy Bennett Landscaping.

  Guy and his father, Michael recently completed the transformation of our tired looking front garden and also replaced a dated front door stepped pathway. There were times at the very start of the job when the extreme cold and wet weather was very challenging but this certainly did not deter them. Guy is an extremely talented craftsman. He has a great eye for detail and the quality of his work is first class. His ability to make things work is second to none and this was certainly the case with the pathway area which proved to be a difficult project… [read more]at times but with Guy’s expertise for detail the finished result was fantastic and it enhanced the garden beautifully. He regularly checks with you that you are happy with what is being done and he added some really lovely creative ideas to the final finish to the garden.   Guy turned our patio area into a fabulous outside/inside room. He took time to understand what we wanted and we developed the plans together. His attention to detail and craftsmanship is second to none and I loved hear him work through a problem before exclaiming ‘perfect!’ knowing that the result would spot on!   I would not hesitate to recommend Guy his work is of the highest standard. He tamed a wild and overgrown driveway.and turned it into beautiful gravel garden. He took great care to save shrubs and trees and incorporate them into the overall design.I am delighted with the result, so much so I have asked him to tackle the other side of the the drive.

  Cannot recommend Guy highly enough. I needed a relatively small area of of grass removed and replaced with shingle and, unlike some professional landscaping tradesmen he listened to what we required and gave us exactly what we wanted. His price was extremely competitive and he completed the work very quickly and left our garden looking very tidy. He is also honest in that he reduced our bill by the cost of a bag of shingle which he didn’t need.   Guy has created a flat storage area and access gate and fence for us at the side of our property, he has also remodelled our porch area, increasing the slabbed area and replacing concrete slabs with random limestone.   Guy has recently completed a wonderful job transforming the wasteland of my back garden into an amazing courtyard garden which is a delight to look at and sit in.He is very creative in his ideas and has the ability to make the most of any space.   Guy did two difficult landscaping jobs for me: cutting into exisiting block paving to create new planting areas; putting in a root barrier and reinforcing the patio, so that it cannot be damaged by a rampant bamboo. He takes careful note of what the customer is asking him to do and works with great care to ensure his work meets the customer’s requirements. He also goes the extra mile to ensure the customer is totally satisfied with his work. What a star!

  I can’t praise Guy enough, he’s a really nice lad. I have a courtyard which was like a blank canvas. He took down a shed, put up a fence, and set up wires to grow things along. I saw some planters for sale at the Garden Centre, but he made be bespoke planters that were better and sturdier. He installed a retractable hose on a wall and moved my rotary line.   Excellent work again from Guy. First met him when he worked with Derek Hall – very pleased with his contribution then. Now continuing the good work. Very efficient when giving a quote. Had good ideas and quote was with us immediately. Always turned up when he said he would be here, on time and worked very hard. Always cleaned up carefully after each days’ work.
