  Expert, polite, clean service! We asked Joe to move our stove further into the room to give out more heat. He did this with absolute success, adding further insulation into the chimney plate, installing an air vent and serviced the stove to look like new! Very satisfied, highly recommend.

  He fitted a new woodburner, hearth and everything, I’ve got my certificate already. There was previously a chimney / old electric fireplace. I now have Brazilian slate hearth and a German woodburner! Everything he did was excellent including plastering all round the hearth. He was absolutely brilliant. His price was very reasonable (I had 3 x quotes…there was a similar quote, but Joe felt much more on the ball). He kept to his word and I have already got my certificate.   I wanted to have a gas fire taken out. We called Joe after we’d had an experience with someone who hadn’t been quite so positive (‘why do you want to do this?’). Joe did a site visit and we had a chat until he understood exactly what I wanted to do. He offered extra building work if I wanted it done (which he put on the quote as an option, but he wasn’t trying to upsell). He had good availability, his communication was really good.   of building work he was able to offer – removing the whole brick and tile hearth – it felt like a full 360 degree care and service. Once we saw his work we did ask him to fulfil the additional building work he had suggested. It really felt like nothing was too much trouble, and he took away all the rubble.
