  An excellent team from Devon Arborists reduced the size of a mature beech tree and pollarded 4 maples for us. They did an excellent job on both, explaining the effects to us in advance and making sure that we were happy throughout. They were tidy and thoughtful, clearing up thoroughly afterwards. We've already booked them again for our next job.

  What a fantastic firm! We enquired about bamboo removal, having recently moved into a new property where the previous owners had left it to grow out of control. From the initial point of contact, they were prompt in their response and fair with their pricing. Following an assessment, we proceeded with the quote and work was scheduled about a month later. The team were here for two days, efficient with the excavation, but also fixed some broken garden fence panels to ensure it could be reattached properly.   Max and team came to tackle the yew trees encroaching on the 600 year old church building. Everything was very efficient from the start. Max gave us a quote there and then when meeting to inspect what needed doing. They arrived on time as planned, we were impressed by their PPE even on a hot day, they were very safety conscious with people movement around the building. They listened carefully to what we hoped to achieve in reducing tree height, and were very accommodating in meeting our expectations.   A great example of brilliant local service. The up front advice and communication was really good and the job (tree pruning and removal) was carried out professionally and efficiently.   Absolutely Exceptional Service. This brilliant team have just undertaken a large bamboo removal for ourselves, we were completely amazed at their level of workmanship, professionalism, knowledge of the whole bamboo removal process. We also loved their ultra friendly and polite manner throughout all our communications and during the works. The bamboo removal went without problem, the area being left wonderfully tidy. They were extremely professional, but at the same time very friendly, communicating during the process to ensure we were happy with results.   Max and the team did an absolutely excellent job in removing a tree from my back garden. They were all very friendly, polite, professional and helpful and I was amazed at how quickly the tree was removed. Not only that , they cleared up so well that you couldnt tell that they had been on the ground near the tree at all. This was important as they had to do the work from a neighbours land.   I’m just wanted to say that I picked out some tree felling people from yourbrochure (Devon Arborists) and they have done a wonderful job. I’m extremely pleased with it and I shall use them again in future. They were really nice lads that came. I thought they were going to have to massacre the tree but it looks like it hasn’t been touched. They worked very hard and did a couple of extra jobs for me, too.I use your book quite frequently and it’s really useful as I don’t use tradespeople very often anymore.

  Max and his team efficiently tackled several tricky projects on our property all in a single day. They arrived exactly on time, and among other things, they reduced the height of a large cherry tree by going up in a ‘cherry picker’, cut back 10 hazel trees by climbing using ropes, and neatened some holly trees that were out of control.   Max, Theo, Keith and Jake spent 2.5 days in November removing trees, stumps, cutting hedges etc. for us. They worked exceptionally hard, despite the weather, and were very professional (have all the requisite safety equipment/tools and they think carefully about the best way to do something).   Max and his team did an annual trim our conifer hedge , which at points is 11 feet tall and 4 feet deep, surrounding the house on 3 sides. The result is excellent. Tidy, sharp, superb.   These guys do a really professional job. In 4 hours they trimmed our mixed hedge both sides and top, removed a sickly tree, removed a small dead tree, pruned and re-shaped two very large and overgrown shrubs and cut back an overgrown boundary along a length of 30 metres. All cleared up with not a leaf left on the ground. Helpful, polite, positive and willing. Highly recommended.

  The Devon Arborists have pruned trees, trimmed beech hedges and removed quantities of weeds from my garden for the last three years. On each occasion they have been meticulous in every aspect of their work.   Outstanding service from Devon Arborists.Max recently dismantled two large Cypress trees for us in our new home. One was very close to the house and branches were right out over our conservatory.   I approached Devon Arborists after hearing good reports. They performed a large job for me which took two and a half days. The work included taking down a tree above a greenhouse. When they came to estimate, I felt confident and comfortable to go forward with them. Their estimate was very detailed.
