  Ben was a pleasure to deal with. He replaced a garden fence for us and did a fantastic job in a timely manner, despite encountering challenges with digging the holes for the new posts. Would highly recommend to anyone – Ben is professional, communicates effectively and we are pleased with the new fence.

  Ben has recently completed two jobs for us, an installation of a new fence, and a repair of an existing one. On both occasions he has given us clear quotes and explanations of what the work entailed and consulted us on the finish we required. He is very good at keeping in touch about his availability and we will certainly use him again.

  I was very plesed to meet Ben and his dog. The fencing work was a little different, removing old concrete posts and chainlink, then replacing some posts and gravel boards, taking out and putting back in existing panels, and adding spur posts where needed on the other side of the garden. All work carried out and the gardens on both sides and mine left tidy. Great service carried out in the agreed time scale. Would recommend to others.

  Highly recommend. Ben replaced a fence that blew down in a recent storm. He provided new fence poles, fencing along a stretch of our garden and painted and refitted the gate.He took great care and much trouble, not to mention pride in his work, ably assisted by his extremely well-behaved Collie. His very pleasant manner and courtesy add to this recommendation! All debris cleared & everything tidied up perfectly. Many thanks Ben.

  Ben did an excellent job taking down an old fence and putting up a new featherboard one. I am very pleased with the result which is finished off much better than the original. He was quick, to the response of my enquiry, giving me a quote and starting the work. Ben was professional and interesting to talk to. He cleared up after himself taking all the old stuff away. I highly recommend him.

  Highly recommend. Excellent work providing new fence poles and 2-bar bespoke fencing along a stretch of our garden, after drastic reduction of hedge width and height. Despite tricky downhill section, Ben took great care with aesthetics as well as precise measurements. He is very responsive to customer requests and nothing was too much trouble. His very pleasant manner and courtesy add to this recommendation! All debris cleared & everything tidied up perfectly. Many thanks Ben.

  We were delighted with the work that Ben did when he replaced a fence that we share with a neighbour. He very efficiently removed our old fence, and then erected a high quality feather edge fence to replace it, doing it all very professionally and clearing up as he went along.   Ben has been cutting my hedges for many years now. He is a reliable good communicator and always does a lovely job. I’m particularly impressed with his vacuum cleaner which means he leaves the garden professionally tidy!He does a good job for a fair price and I would recommend his services.

  Ben is a skilled and knowledgeable hedge cutter, who isn’t at all fazed by brambles! Most recently we used him to build a 12.5 metre ‘hit and miss’ fence along a boundary that’s a bit of a wind tunnel. It looks wonderful. He always clears up any debris too, ably helped by his dog. I’d recommend him wholeheartedly, on both quality of work and fairness of pricing.

  I asked Ben to replace a broken/rotten post in my garden fence. He explained carefully and fully what he was going to do beforehand. He arrived punctually on the chosen day. He went about his task diligently and without any fuss, and although the post was a bit tricky to deal with, he was undaunted. On completion he cleared up and explained to me what he had done. I found him to be very personable and I would have no hesitation in asking him back for similar jobs, or recommending him and his work to anyone else. Thank you Ben.

  Ben fixed our fence which had 2 rotted posts very efficiently digging out the old posts and setting the new ones sturdily in concrete on a cold February day. He managed to remain good humoured as well.

  Ben did a superb job on a range of giant hedges – at times in unusually hot weather – reducing one by almost 2 metres. He also cleared a horrible tangle of garden debris and cut back a couple of trees that had got overly big. He knows what he is doing, gives good advice and clears up remarkably well afterwards. I shall certainly be using him (and his dog) again.

  Ben and his assistant from Partridge Hill Farm did a great job in planting a privet hedge for me around my front garden. I needed someone with experience in hedges to keep dogs in. It is growing very well and Ben has twice been back to check it and look at it for me to make sure everything is okay. I would highly recommended this business, they are very trustworthy and helpful.

  Ben installed close-board fencing on three sides of our house. Our terrain is on a hillside with varying levels which presented some challenges which he met with seeming ease, and willingly accomodated changes to plan as the job progressed.   Ben constructed about 25m of low picket fence for us along a farm boundary and he did a fantastic job of it!   (For a Large domestic and agricultural fence job). He’s exceptionally good. Fencing covering 4.5 acres, part close board and feather edge fence, part stock-proof. Everything was done totally professionally. Very quick, fair price. Everything he’s ever done for me has been spot on, including bush clearance. He’s always punctual, and works long hours until the job’s done.
