  Having always had our chimney swept by the installer, it was a bit scary to reach out to another sweep. However all correspondence and comms were friendly and efficient, and despite clearly being flat out they fitted us in pretty quick. Sweep itself was equally friendly and efficient! Deffo recommend, in fact I have a friend who has now booked him in too. Thoroughly professional.

  Really helpful when I couldn’t reach my usual sweep, also had to rebook as national grid turned off electric on the day due, they were really helpful in rebooking me and fitting me in at the busiest time. Very efficient , clean service will definitely use from now on

  We are very happy with the service that Ewan provided for us. Everything about the way Ewan conducts his business is professional. He responded quickly to our enquiry and booked an appointment at our convenience. He sent a reminder of his forthcoming visit, carried a first-class sweep of our open fire and stove, left no mess whatsoever and he was very accommodating about our pets! His charges are also very reasonable. I would recommend Ewan to a friend and we will be asking Ewan to return next year.

  Ewan was very knowledgeable and kind. He reassured me that I was right to question using our fire when I smelt smoke in a different room and he had specialist camera equipment to check the health of the chimney. He was able to see a big hole in the chimney and it gave us conclusive proof that the fire is unsafe to use. Ewan is polite thorough and honest and we will use A+E Chimney Sweeps for years to come. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

  This is the first time we have used Ewan .What a pleasant young man .He left my lounge spotless when he finished cleaning the logburner. Very efficient. Would definately reccomend him .

  He provides a really good service. First year I had a bird’s nest stuck in the chimney – which included bits of metal the bird had taken from a building site! Ewan had to come back, twice. He could have walked away and he didn’t. He has given me great advice about tiles to get fitted. He was so polite and so thorough. I wouldn’t hesitate to have him back, and now I use him for my annual sweep.

  Great service, very clean and efficient and a very reasonable price too. Ewan is very polite and friendly and immediately took note of pet furniture and asked of he needed to be cautious or keep the door shut etc. if your looking for reliable, clean and professional I would definitely call/ or text A&E Chimney Sweep.
