  Simon was absolutely fantastic. His work was faultless, he was incredibly organised and tidy. He planned out our work meticulously and was excellent at communicating, responding to text and emails straight away. He was really supportive in helping with extra bits and bobs at the end of our project.
  I can’t recommend him highly enough and I am so happy to have found an electrician for life!

  Excellent communication, fast and efficient service. Jobs very tidily done with no fuss. Simon came back after an initial miscommunication by me would have led to him charging two call out fees for two small jobs. Cheaper than the quote from a firm in the Checkatrade brochure – even though their proud boast was that they don’t charge call out fees!

  I thoroughly recommend A Plan Electrical for any electrical work around your home. We were having a new kitchen fitted and Simon and Will came and fitted all the electrics – putting in new lights/spotlights as well as putting light switches and sockets in places we’d always wanted them! Simon gave fantastic advice about extra work we needed fitting lights outside on our balcony and putting outdoor socket. Simon’s communication through the process was excellent – always turning up when he said – a rare commodity these days! They also left everything spotless. Hire them you won’t be disappointed!

We had to have prep work completed before the kitchen refit due to not being up to current standards (new fuse box and electricity safety certificates) and this was no bother to them at all.   I would have to agree with many of the comments below regarding the professionalism and work ethic of Simon and Lee of A-Plan Electrical. They are really very good. They undertook the electrical work for our new kitchen installation which was perhaps a little more complicated than normal as there was not enough power available for the new addition appliances. So they laid a new cable from the outside meter box around the house and into the kitchen. There they installed a new distribution box and the supplies to the appliances and power outlets.   and regard for the integrity and safety aspect of their work that impressed me. I found this reassuring, although regulated, given that once done very little of their work is visible. What is visible is so neat and tidy, every supply and breaker was identified by printed label and even the screw driver slots in the screws for outlets and switches were all aligned in the vertical position. However it is when you see the final certification (NICEIC) that you appreciate the level of testing. Mine was 9 pages of the readings for capacitance, impedance resistance etc to show that the circuits were not overloaded and everything was with the allowable safety margins. A-Plan Electrical know their business and I like the way they go about it.

  We contacted Simon after being let down by another electrician. He immediately booked in a date, and prior to that came and did a reccy on works to be done. On the due day, Lee carried out the work in a competent and clean manner, and we are well pleased with the three ceiling lights, the garage LED strip he installed, and socket repositioning in time for new built in wardrobes. We highly recommend A-Plan Electrical and will definitely use them in future.

  You won’t find a more professional company than A-plan for all your electrical needs. We have used Simon & Lee over the years for two very high end kitchens for different properties and their service and quality finish are second to none.   Plan-A have recently completed all the electrical work for a new kitchen, including an additional mains circuit for a new induction hob.   I have no hesitation in recommending Simon for his competent and friendly work. Initially we took his advice to replace old fluorescent ceiling lights with brighter modern LEDs.   Hi Everyone. I had an old, large tank Immersion Water Heater taken out. And had a Multi Point put in under the kitchen sink. The Plumber who put the Unit in could not do the Electrics as it required a qualified Electrician. So I got Simon in to do the job. Using A-Plan was so hassle free, and we received a very detailed (and reasonable) quote of the items that needed fixing.   A Plan Electrical completely rewired and fitted lights for our new kitchen. The work was carried out in a professional manner and throughout we were updated with options and costings. A Plan are punctual and thorough and have the customer at the heart of their work. Nothing was too much trouble and we were delighted with the quality of work and end result.   Simon has done all the electrics on our kitchen and bathroom installations since March 2011 until present day. We are very happy with the quality of his work and the price he charges. If we’re not 100% happy with the contractors we use we wouldn’t continue to use them on further jobs as they represent our business when working in our clients home.

  We can thoroughly recommend Simon who inspected the electrics in our old cottage and made appropriate recommendations. He also put in electrics for 2 new showers and had to work with the plumber, so timing was difficult. We found him flexible, reliable, willing to come at short notice if he was able and very helpful when we had problems. We won’t hesitate to use him again.
