This is the second occasion on which we have used Free Range Forestry. As before we found them to be efficient, courteous and professional. I have no hesitation in recommending them for tree work. A pleasure to deal with.
D McNeile from Exeter , May 19, 2015
Recently had a tree crowned by free range forestry. Their quote was reasonable, and they did an excellent professional job and left the garden cleared of all the cuttings. I would highly recommend them.
glenn walker from exeter , November 25, 2014
paddy and his team have cutback our trees and bushes for the last three years. Excellent, thoughtful work. A delight to have Paddy and the boys round
Mr & Mrs Mohan from Exeter , October 26, 2014
Paddy and his team at Free Range Forestry were excellent - we would highly recommend them. They were very reasonable price - they did a few extra tasks at the time but still charged us the original price. They were extremely efficient and knowledgeable - they gave great recommendations to replace the tree we had to cut down. They chopped all the wood and even stacked it neatly in our wood shed. They did a great job of tidying everything up at the end of the job. We would have no hesitation using them again in the future.
Richard Lee from Exeter , July 24, 2014
I have used Free Range Forestry more than once to prune trees in our large garden and woodland. Each time Paddy and his team have completed the jobs efficiently and on time. I can truly recommended this professional and friendly bunch.
Martin Meredith from Topsham , April 30, 2014
I was very impressed by Free Range Forestry. They are efficient and hardworking. At all times they explained what they were doing and gave excellent advice on woodland management.
I recommend them and will certainly use them again.
David Temple from SIDMOUTH , April 23, 2014
An excellent tidy job was done on our trees. Free Range Forestry trimmed and reshaped a Beech tree very well. The firm felled a troublesome Lawson Cypress and levelled it to the ground with the absolute minimum of mess. The chippings produced were spread on the garden paths. We were very pleased with the results.
Simon from Exeter , March 5, 2014
Paddy and his team did an excellent job, taking down one tree for me and pruning some very overgrown apple trees. Professional, courteous, skillful, considerate and very good value! Highly recommended.
Andy Joss from Lympstone , February 4, 2014
The best and brightest...... don't even think of going to anyone other than Paddy and his partners. On time, efficient, flexible and most of all delightful guys who are professional, knowledgeable, well trained, and safety conscious; and most of all they listen and respond to requests in a polite, pleasing and prompt manner - even to the point of climbing 25ft up a massive lime tree, to adjust an old swing rope that was slowly strangling a branch! Now that is what I call service......

We booked Free Range Forestry to prune a silver birch at the back of our offices in the centre of Exeter. Paddy and Rich were on the ball, informing us of the conservation area we are in, and submitted the necessary paperwork for us. They did a great job, and the best bit from a business perspective is that they left the area clean and tidy - you would never had known they had taken down half a tree and chipped it up on the site. Great job guys!! :)
Mr J B Campbell from Exeter , January 8, 2014
Cut down a Monterey Pine tree which had just got too big to look safe. The work was done professionally with speed. The trunk was cut into manageable logs and the site tidied-up.
Glynis Harflett from Exeter , December 10, 2013
Great Service. They do what they said they would do and on the day and time agreed. Helpful discussions and knowledgeable about what was required. Cleared up after themselves too.

Recommend them

Paddy and his friendly team did an excellent job of removing our large eucalyptus. They cleaned up well after themselves and left the site cleaner than it was when they arrived. Would definitely get them in for any further tree work.
Anna from Exeter , August 11, 2013
We would highly recommend Paddy and his team. We received good, thoughtful advice about how to deal with two large Leylandii so that we got more light in our garden but retained the screening that they provide.

The work was fairly priced, they turned up on time and tidied up after themselves. We couldn't have asked for more.
Lee Nattrass from Exeter , July 4, 2013
Excellent service provided by Paddy and his team. They were really efficient, clean, tidy and considerate of my neighbours when dealing with a really awkward Willow. I would not hesitate in using their services again and cannot rate them highly enough!
Thanks for a great job

You will not regret using Paddy and his team. They were punctual, polite, efficient and knowledgeable and also very reasonably priced. They removed a couple of trees for me allowing much more light into the garden and did a fantastic job. Leaving the site cleaner than when they started! I would thoroughly recommend them.

Joan D from Balfours, Sidmouth , January 25, 2013
For a large Area of trees and high, deep hedges cut.

Polite, very efficient,. What I particularly liked that I was asked at each phase to tell them when we got to the height we wanted and really listened to me. Tidy and clean at the end. Behind our hedge is a sheer drop. They still came even though weather bad and brought another helper to hold the ladders safe because of the wind. Very impressed. Also I only had to wait about one week to get the work done after I received the estimate.
Lin Bloom from Tiverton , January 18, 2013
Paddy and his team were incredibly efficient throughout from initial site visit to completion of the work. They shaped and thinned two trees allowing more light into our garden and reduced the crowns of another 2 trees. The finished effect is stunning, now the trees are in proportion to our small garden and what’s more the whole area was left swept and clean. Perfect. I am delighted with the end result and would highly recommend them to anyone.
John Crocker from Exmouth , January 18, 2013

Superb service - speedy response and a great clear up, - left the site very tidy which was not easy with narrow access and messy trees to cut down. Very cost effective and efficient - highly recommended.
Brian Hoyle from Exeter , July 28, 2012

Mr & Mrs Watson from Cullompton , April 3, 2012
We were extremely happy with the work done by Paddy & Rich in removing a VERY large Horse Chestnut tree in the back garden close to our home.
The team worked solidly throughout taking particular care given the close proximity of the house!
After the tree had been felled the wood was cut for us exactly as had been requested and neatly stacked - not an easy task given the amount of wood!
The site was left clean and tidy and we now have a clear view of the garden - we are happy to recommend Faircloth Forestry to others and will be using them again in future
Alan Friend from Ebford , March 20, 2012

For apple tree pruning: The advice given on inspection of the work to be carried out was thorough, knowledgeable and understandable. Faircloth Forestry removed 4 conifers adjacent to our boundary and cut back and tidied up other trees We have no hesitation in recommending them. They are thoroughly professional, work hard, do what they say they will do, arrive when they say they will and leave the garden in a tidy state. They are also extremely adept in negotiating over problem boundary trees.

We contacted Faircloth Forestry as we had an enormous mature oak tree come down in our garden and wanted a quote. His whole team worked extremely hard and were all very friendly and courteous.
