Darren Kirk has completed a variety of plumbing projects for us over the last 10 years. These range from a full refitting of our bathroom to dealing with a faulty ball valve in the loft. He has offered very good advice and his work has always been thorough and effective. Everything was left neat and tidy and worked well. He offers excellent service and good value for tasks both large and small. Thoroughly recommended and we have had no hesitation in going back to him over many years.

Would certainly recommend efuture Plumbing and Renewables. Darren recently refitted a bathroom and downstairs cloakroom for me. I was impressed by the quality of his work and his attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble and he was able to accommodate some minor changes I asked for within the original job specification. Would definitely use him again.

Darren Kirk has transformed our tired shower ensuite into a first class wetroom with underfloor heating which we are delighted with. Darren is a knowledgeable, clean, tidy, meticulous worker and he consulted us throughout the whole process. He is professional, polite and conscientious and has a good eye for detail, resulting in an excellent finish. He works with a team of good professional colleagues who provide the necessary skills to complete the project. Darren's invoice was also very reasonable.

Darren installed a bathroom for us. He is a skilled, conscientious and meticulous worker who is able both to see the big picture and give attention to detail. He works with good professional colleagues for 'specialist' bits. He has positive approach to problems that arise on the job. He consulted with us throughout. We are very pleased with the outcome.

Darren was the plumber and heating installer for our new build. UFH thoughout, and an ASHP with solar thermal as a late after thought. We have an ensuite and family bathroom.
Darrens work is meticulous and impeccable. Our cupboard is so full of tech-pumps, sensors and whatnot, but it looks a work of art its so neat. Almost a shame to put doors on. He has been very patient with changes and helpful on what is worth doing and what to leave. He has also tiled both rooms with great thought and attention to detail - where to cut tiles and how they should line up. Alot of the thought won't be noticed - it just looks fab with great finish -but the fact you dont notice - no glaring mistakes where you think 'why did they do that'.
Despite the quality of the finish if found his invoice very reasonable and fair. Extremely happy. Nice worker to have around too.
All this and his partner had a baby half way through the job :)

We have used Darren Kirk for two large building projects in the last couple of years, one our own home (15thC, so plenty of challenges) and the other an 18thC barn which was converted as a holiday let. We have been delighted with his work and many of our guests in Luggs Barn have commented specifically on how neat the plumbing is and asked for his details.
The holiday let work consisted of two hot water cylinders, one on each floor; an external oil fired boiler; plumbing for a kitchen and 4 bathrooms, and a full radiator heating system.
The (Grade 2 listed) main farmhouse work necessitated replacing and resiting the hot water cylinder into the tiny (thatched) attic space; fitting underfloor heating in most of the ground floor (with the added problems of steps and level changes common to old houses) and a radiator system using traditional cast iron radiators in the rest of the house. This boiler is also external to the house, fitted in the old privy in the garden and of course all pipework from boilers to buildings had to be correctly laid and insulated.
We have original floorboards throughout the first floor which had to be carefully handled and all the work here presented a significant challenge which was handled extremely well by Darren and his apprentice. He even worked until midnight one night to get the heating working in Luggs Barn for our incoming guests in temperatures of -20 degrees.
Both Darren and his apprentice are rare in that they are polite, easy to talk to, helpful and excellent at their jobs. I have recommended them to countless friends in the area and will continue to do so. If we need anything in future, from another huge project (God forbid!) to a dripping tap, I wouldn't call anyone else.

Darren Kirk has done an absolutely first class job installing our new bathroom. He was prompt, arrived when he said he would, and worked to very high standards.
The work involved removing the old bathroom, installing a shower and underfloor heating. His apprentice was also exceptional – keen and polite – service like you used to get. We would recommend them to anyone who cares to ask.
